The Crown Public House in Asfordby Melton Mowbray
Join us on January 18th 2019 as Investigate the Dark side of The Crown Pub. Do some of the past occupants still cast a shadow over the bar ?The Crown was originally a small farm cottage which was extended in the 18th century to become a coaching inn. The building is constructed of thick sandstone walls. Inside, the pub consists of a front entrance into a long, narrow bar room leading up to an 'L' shaped bar at the back and a separate cosy small room off to the left. A passageway to the left of the bar leads to dining areas to the rear of the pub. This will be a Charity event and we will be setting up a Just giving page. Due to limited space we can only allow 7x members of the Group to Participate. The Management will be selling 10x spaces to their dedicated customers.
